Cooperative Neighborhood Farms
Reclaiming abandoned urban space to establish chemical-free community crops owned entirely by neighborhood councils.
We believe the only way to truly end the generational cycle of poverty is by providing food and education. Studies show that when a child is given the opportunity to go to school for 10 years, they're able to bring their families out of poverty in perpetuity. All we do is provide that one chance to those who need it most.

“This land has supported my family for three generations. Now we're teaching seventy kids how to feed themselves.”
Meet Helena Roy, director of the North Valley Cooperative. Supported by an EVOKE micro-grant, Helena transformed three adjacent empty city parcels into a collective garden that now feeds over 400 local apartments every week.
