EVOKE Marketplace (“EVOKE,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an impact-driven phygital marketplace that connects buyers, sellers, creators, and charitable partners. As part of our platform, we and our sellers may use artificial intelligence (“AI”) and machine-learning tools to create, enhance, or personalize content. This disclosure explains where AI may appear on evokemarketplace.com, what it is used for, and how we work to keep our community informed.

Our commitment: We believe transparency builds trust. Where AI materially shapes what you see — in product imagery, descriptions, recommendations, or marketing — we aim to disclose it clearly and encourage our sellers to do the same.

1. Scope of this disclosure

This policy applies to AI-generated or AI-assisted content displayed on the EVOKE Marketplace website, mobile experiences, seller dashboard, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”). It covers content produced by EVOKE as well as content created by independent sellers using tools available through the Platform, including Evoke Ignite and the AI Growth Center.

This disclosure supplements our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy. It does not replace seller-specific policies or applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

2. How EVOKE uses artificial intelligence

EVOKE may use AI and automated systems across the Platform for purposes that include, but are not limited to:

  • Seller tools: Product image generation, lifestyle scene creation, product description drafting, SEO metadata suggestions, and 360° product video creation through Evoke Ignite and related seller workflows.
  • Search and discovery: Ranking, filtering, and surfacing products, stores, categories, deals, and collections based on relevance, popularity, and your browsing activity.
  • Personalization: Recently viewed products, similar product suggestions, and tailored storefront experiences.
  • Customer support: Automated responses, routing, and assistance features that help users navigate the Platform.
  • Trust and safety: Fraud detection, content moderation, and policy enforcement assisted by automated review.
  • Operations: Inventory insights, analytics summaries, and internal workflow automation for sellers and administrators.

3. Types of AI-assisted content you may encounter

On EVOKE Marketplace, AI-assisted content may include:

  • Product photography and video: Studio-style product images, lifestyle scenes, or 360° spin videos created or enhanced using generative AI tools when a seller chooses those features.
  • Product descriptions and titles: Draft copy, bullet points, or attribute suggestions generated from product details provided by the seller.
  • SEO and marketing copy: Meta titles, descriptions, keywords, blog drafts, or promotional language suggested by AI tools within the seller dashboard.
  • Synthetic or enhanced visuals: Images that depict products in simulated environments, on models, or in stylized settings that were not captured in a traditional photo shoot.
  • Automated recommendations: Product carousels such as “Similar Products” or “Recently Viewed” powered by algorithms that analyze catalog and browsing data.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, AI-generated visuals are intended to represent the actual product offered for sale. Sellers remain responsible for ensuring listings accurately reflect the physical item, including materials, dimensions, condition, and fulfillment details.

4. Seller responsibilities

Independent sellers on EVOKE are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and transparency of their listings. When using AI tools to create or modify storefront content, sellers agree to:

  • Ensure product images and descriptions truthfully represent the item being sold.
  • Not use AI to mislead buyers about authenticity, origin, materials, certifications, or availability.
  • Review and approve all AI-generated output before publishing it to a live listing.
  • Comply with applicable advertising, consumer-protection, and intellectual-property laws in the regions they sell to.
  • Disclose AI-generated marketing content where required by law, including regulations relating to synthetic performers, digitally altered imagery, or automated decision-making.

EVOKE may remove, restrict, or request correction of listings that violate our policies or applicable law, including misleading AI-generated content.

5. What buyers should know

Product listings on EVOKE Marketplace are created by independent sellers. A listing may include photography, video, or written content that was drafted or enhanced with AI. When evaluating a purchase, we encourage you to:

  • Read the full product description, specifications, and seller policies before buying.
  • Review multiple product images and, where available, lifestyle or 360° media to understand what you are receiving.
  • Check seller ratings, reviews, and return policies.
  • Contact the seller through the Platform if you need clarification about materials, sizing, or authenticity.

AI-generated product imagery is a visual aid and should not replace due diligence for high-value, custom, or regulated goods such as jewelry, watches, collectibles, or limited-edition items.

6. Accuracy, limitations, and disclaimers

AI systems can produce useful drafts and visuals quickly, but they are not perfect. Generated content may contain errors, omissions, stylistic embellishments, or representations that do not exactly match the physical product. Colors, textures, proportions, and fine details may vary between AI-rendered media and the item you receive.

EVOKE does not guarantee that AI-assisted content is complete, current, or free from bias. Automated recommendations reflect patterns in available data and may not represent the best option for every shopper. Human review is always recommended before relying on AI output for commercial or purchasing decisions.

7. Intellectual property and data use

Sellers who use EVOKE’s AI tools retain responsibility for ensuring they have the rights to any source images, brand assets, or reference materials uploaded for AI processing. AI-generated outputs may be subject to third-party model provider terms in addition to EVOKE’s seller agreements.

Information submitted to AI features may be processed to deliver the requested output and to improve Platform performance, as described in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell personal information and apply safeguards designed to protect seller and buyer data.

8. Regulatory compliance

Laws governing AI-generated advertising and synthetic media are evolving globally. EVOKE monitors developments in consumer protection, advertising standards, and marketplace regulation — including requirements to disclose synthetic performers or digitally created human likenesses in commercial content.

We update Platform policies and seller guidance as standards mature. Sellers advertising to audiences in regulated jurisdictions are responsible for meeting local disclosure obligations, including clear and conspicuous notices where required.

9. Changes to this disclosure

We may revise this AI Content Disclosure as our Platform, tools, and legal obligations change. When we make material updates, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and may provide additional notice on the Platform. Continued use of EVOKE Marketplace after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated disclosure, subject to our Terms and Conditions.
